Needlework Guild of MN

I just returned from a wonderful week in Buffalo, MN. The ladies were so nice and I had a great time! If you ever get a chance, these ladies have a wonderful retreat and you should join them. You can choose to take classes or just sit and stitch with friends. The Christian Retreat is right on the lake and just so beautiful and calming.

I need to get back to finishing my online classes with SNS and CraftEdu.
Remember to email me at robin@oldewillowstitchery if you would like to be added to my community for notice on classes.

Have a great rest of the summer!

Sunday, August 8, 2010

CraftEdu will be officially launched in September. I will be teaching three online classes to begin with. A reproduction sampler and a sweet bag and sweet bag accessories class.

If you have any friends that would like to be notified of new classes, please have them email me at and I will invite them. I do not sell or give anyone else these private emails.

It sure has been hot and humid here in Ohio! I hope you are enjoying your summer.

CraftEdu is planning to begin offering classes and launching September 1st. Just wanted to give everyone an update. I am working on 3 classes. One reproduction sampler, a sweet bag, and accessories for the sweet bag. They are all teaching pieces. I also will be offering more later. The teaching platform is very nice and includes narration and annotation.

Hope you're enjoying the rest of your summer. It has been really hot and humid in Ohio.

If you know someone who would like to join and see what is being offered here, including cross stitch classes, no obligation, ask them to email me and ask to join. I do not sell email addresses!

Online Classes

I am busily preparing for the Needlework Guild of Minnesota Retreat in Buffalo, MN. It sounds like these ladies really know how to have a good time! I can't wait to meet them. I will be teaching two classes of My Favorite Scottish Sampler, a new piece designed for the retreat called Peacock Fancy (which includes a beautiful box hand-painted by Elsie) , a Pincushion class and a lecture on Pincushions. I have never been to MN, so I am looking forward to this trip.

I am also working on a couple online classes through Secret Needle Society and CraftEdu. The nice part of online classes is that you can take them when you want, in the comfort of your own home and not spend money on traveling. It really is a great opportunity for needleworkers.

I have to say I may be a little impartial, as I have taught online business and paralegal college classes for over eight years. If you want to be put on the mailing list for any of these classes, please email me.

Summer has sure been hot here in Ohio! How has it been where you are? I am looking forward to fall. Fall is nearing--as I am getting catalogs with fall clothes in them.

Have a great week!

Olde Willow Stitchery

No, we are not out of business. There seems to be a nasty rumor out there that we have gone out of business. It is not true, so please spread the word!

My Dad has been sick and I have been busy taking care of him. I have also been refocusing the business a little so that I can spend more time designing and teaching at guilds and shops more. I love teaching.

We still have plenty of floss in stock.

Have a good week!
