Hi Everyone,
Please stay tuned, I will be opening an Olde Willow Stitchery Etsy Store. I am running out of room in my basement. I have finished my dissertation, so it is time to get down to business and clear out my old stash. I will be offering older OWS designs for sale. I will also be selling off the remaining OWS flosses I have in stock. I don't have many, but plan to sell what I have left to make room for some new designs and products. Please be assured any teaching pieces you may have taken in classes from me, will not be sold as patterns until they are at least 2 years old.
Here is my new banner for the Etsy store:
Keep a look out for the opening coming soon.......
Thanks,
Robin

Elizabeth Zebley Accessories
I have added two accessories to the Elizabeth Zebley class. The registration for signing up for the class has been extended until tomorrow, 2/3/14. It isn't to late to sign up.
Here is the link: http://www.biggsmuseum.org/programs/samplersymposium/samplersymposium.html
Other good news, my dissertation on Ohio women entrepreneurs is finally approved. I met 22 wonderful women while interviewing them for my dissertation. I will be doing my oral defense next week. Please keep your fingers crossed. I hope to get my life back again......and have more time to get back into designing and stitching.....I have really missed that.
Stay warm and take time to stitch!

Happy New Year! Delaware Sampler Symposium - March 2014
Hi Everyone,
Hope you had a wonderful holiday season and Happy New Year! I have been quite busy over the last few months and hope to find more time to design in 2014.
There is an upcoming Delaware Sampler Symposium in March that you won't want to miss at the Biggs Museum. The following is the link to use to get all the details:
http://www.biggsmuseum.org/exhibitions/upcoming.html
I will be teaching the Elizabeth Zebley sampler and am excited to welcome the great, great, great grandson of Elizabeth to provide us with the fascinating background to the sampler (ie. Titantic etc.). I will keep you guessing. The registration is until February 1, 2014. I hope you will plan to join the symposium, I think it will be a great time!

The Cyberstitchers EGA Group
I will be teaching an online class in January for the Cyberstitchers, "Solomon's Temple". I am excited to be working with this talented group of stitchers. The class kit will be supplied by Elegant Stitch. Lois is specially dying the fabric for this kit.
I also will be teaching a Delaware sampler class at the March, 2014 Delaware Sampler Symposium. It looks to be a great conference. Here is the preliminary information:

Gold Color Slight Change/ Christmas Issue
Hi Everyone,
My sampler ornament in the recent JCS 2013 Christmas Issue has two colors of satin stitch flowers. Viewing the graph in the magazine, you cannot tell which is which. It is easy enough to explain.
The left side of each flower is done in the GFS #207 (darker gold) which is Gorianna Florimell Silk in satin stitches. The right side of each satin stitch flower is done in Needlepoint Inc. #842 (lighter gold).
The flowers at the very top are down in cross stitch with GFS #207. Hope you enjoy this little sampler ornament. We are looking forward to this Christmas with my son and his wife and our two new miniature schnauzer puppies, Carmela, and Schultzie. (I didn't know at the time of this submission that we would lose our beloved 17- year old "Sammy". )
